The Apparel and Footwear International RSL Management (AFIRM)’s Steering Committee has recently re-selected Chem-MAP® Technical Manager Georgina Mawer to re-serve a two-year term on AFIRM’s Laboratory Technical Advisory Committee (LabTAC).
LabTAC supports the vision and mission of the AFIRM group in advancing the global management of restricted substances in apparel and footwear. They regularly communicate information about RSL to their members throughout the supply chain, discuss their concerns, and facilitate the exchange of ideas for improving RSL management in the future.
AFIRM continues to be recognised as a global centre of excellence, providing resources to enable continuous advancement of chemical management best practices. The LabTAC includes industry experts, such as Georgina, to promote the objectives of AFIRM and supporting safer chemistry within the apparel and footwear supply chains.
This re-appointment means that the Eurofins | Chem-MAP team will continue to contribute to the management and eradication of hazardous chemicals from the global supply chain.
