Eurofins | Chem-MAP is delighted to announce that Zschimmer & Schwarz, a global leader in chemical solutions, has successfully achieved ZDHC Level 3 certification through the Chem-MAP programme. This remarkable achievement highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible chemical management in the leather industry.
As part of this significant certification, four Zschimmer & Schwarz sites have been awarded ZDHC Level 3 compliance with Chem-MAP: three in Latin America—Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico—as well as their German site in Lahnstein. This certification is a testament to the company’s dedication to upholding the highest industry standards for chemical safety and sustainability.

ZDHC Level 3 certification is the highest level of compliance within the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme, indicating rigorous adherence to chemical management protocols and a proactive approach to reducing harmful substances in the manufacturing process. By earning this certification, Zschimmer & Schwarz has reinforced its position as a responsible leader in the leather chemicals sector.
