Eurofins | Chem-MAP are pleased to share that they have been approved by ZDHC as one of three solution providers with the ability to offer certification in conformance with ZDHC Chemical to Zero Progressive Level (CtZ-P).
The ZDHC CtZ Programme is part of ZDHC’s continuous improvement exercise towards better chemistry. It outlines the journey for a formulation by defining three levels of progress:
CtZ – Foundational: Formulations that conform to the ZDHC MRSL conformance levels 1, 2 or 3, as described in the ZDHC MRSL Conformance Guidance V2.0.
CtZ – Progressive: Formulations that meet the requirements of ZDHC MRSL Level 2 or above, and are expected to respect AFIRM RSL limits in articles, when applied accordingly to the chemical manufacturers instructions.
CtZ – Aspirational*: Formulations that meet the requirements of ZDHC MRSL Level 3, and CtZ – Progressive, and which confirm metrics related to sustainable chemistry attributes.
*(The framework for CtZ – Aspirational has not yet been developed or released by ZDHC).
ZDHC launched the first stage of its CtZ transitional phase on the 28th July, with the release of CtZ – Progressive. As a result, formulations certified by Eurofins | Chem-MAP as Level 2 or above, subject to a self-declaration by the chemical formulator can now be assigned as CtZ – Progressive on the ZHDC Gateway.
Guidance on how to assign CtZ – Progressive status to formulations approved by Eurofins | Chem-MAP as Level 2 or 3 conformance can be found on the ZDHC Knowledge Base.
