Chem-MAP® provides businesses with a ZDHC approved system for chemical formulation verification to the ZDHC MRSL. This not only benefits chemical companies who can retail verified chemical formulations through the ZDHC Gateway; Chem-MAP® also supports the downstream supply chain as well as protecting consumers and the environment.

Chemical formulation verification allows chemical companies to obtain ZDHC Conformance Level 1 (Level 3 can be gained through completion of the c-MAP Programme which includes a site audit). This enables the chemical company to list ZDHC compliant chemical formulations on the ZDHC Gateway.

Manufacturers whose chemical formulations pass the verification process can satisfy brands’ and retailers’ objectives by supporting ZDHC goals through the use of ZDHC approved chemistry in the production of leather, textiles and synthetic materials.
