Eurofins | Chem-MAP awarded SCRD with ZDHC Level 1 Conformance for their vegetable tannins in accordance with MRSL V2.0 after successful completion of the Chem-MAP ZDHC Certification process.
Since 1862, SCRD have been creating, producing and selling exceptional vegetable tannins to end-users such as textile companies, tanneries and cosmetic producers.
CHEMICAL CAPACITY BUILDING TOOL
The Eurofins | Chem-MAP team worked with SCRD to complete a Capacity Building Tool which identified information on the 50 products that SCRD wanted to certify. The information also included the use category and use type of the product.
RISK BASED TEST SELECTION
The Eurofins | Chem-MAP team conducted a risk assessment of the capacity building tool and selected a percentage of formulations for testing in accordance with the ZDHC MRSL using fully quantitative methods.
SAMPLES TESTED
SCRD sent 3 batches of each sample to the Eurofins |Chem-MAP team for analysis and testing.
TEST REPORTS SENT TO SCRD
Once testing and analysis was complete, the Eurofins | Chem-MAP team issued test reports
within a turnaround time of 4-6 weeks.
CERTIFCATIONS & ZDHC GATEWAY
Once testing was compliant and finalised, the Eurofins | Chem-MAP team issued certification and SCRD were then able to upload their Level 1
certified products onto the ZDHC Gateway.
USE OF THE EUROFINS | CHEM-MAP APPROVED PARTNER STATUS
Upon certification, SCRD received the Eurofins | Chem-MAP Approved Partner Mark.
The Approved Partner Mark can be placed on promotional material, packaging and on a website – highlighting to end users that products have been tested in accordance with ZDHC MRSL V2.0.
